CMU校方宣佈將建造一座以他為名的步橋

在Pausch 發表演講結束後， EA / ACM /CMU / 業師依序上台 致贈他獎狀與致詞。

CMU Board President 在上台致詞時宣佈：

為了表彰 Randy 畢生在連接 （connect) Arts 與 CS兩個不同領域所貢獻心力，因此他們決定要在校院內兩棟象徵 Arts and 資訊科學的建築 （分別是Purnell Center for the Arts 和Gates Center for Computer Science）中間建造一個「Randy Pausch's Memorial Footbridge」，讓所有的學生記住Randy的精神。

接著，CMU Board President提到 ：

"If students don't know what the footbridge come from ,we'll let them know"

這種感覺真棒！一個有成就的人能在生前接受這麼多人的喝采與祝福，也算是功成名就。

我沒去過CMU，但透過一些study，我找到建造這座步橋的地點，並且嘗試從影片中的照片，虛擬出這個步道的概念圖。

不過，根據google Map的衛星空照圖與Voteprime 的照片顯示 (↓) ，Center for CS 已經拆除重蓋，會不會擴展為Randy Pausch 大樓也說不一定喔！

根據 Ketchup (via flickr)的照片確定有一棟
Gates Center for Computer Science 要蓋。(將舊的學生宿舍拆除）
